shortening pax height by 1.4cm?

hi
new to this forum
tried searching but all searches for pax seem to come up empty for some reason?!
in the process of buying a newly built house
the builder says the ceilings are 234.6cm high
i see that the pax comes in 236cm
how would i go about overcoming the 1.4cm difference?

thanks in advance

Re: shortening pax height by 1.4cm?

Hi Sorry to hijack your post the easiest way is to trim the bottom the two side boards and also the toe-kick 1.4cm will not be a problem.

my question is for a similar thing but my ceiling height is 2310 so i need to loose 54mm from the bottom and ideally leave 10-20mm clearance for the doors to clear the carpet.
does anyone know what the overall height of the toekick from the floor to the underside of the base shelf, ideally it would be 70mm. obviously i could buy the 2010mm high but I'm trying to make a built in wardrobe look so having 300mm at the top won't look right.

thanks

That only works if you aren't using sliding doors!

Also, if you are that tight on space, assembling the wardrobes will be difficult as you will have to assemble them upright as you won't have room to sit them up if you build them lying down as per the instructions.

What are the options for hinged doors? Or is it not possible?

Hinged doors should work. You will find quite a range in the catalogue.
