These were two unexpected surprises yesterday when we went to Stoughton to order/pick up Uriksdal oak cabinets for our laundry/storage room.

On the way out of the store I noticed a brown black PAX wardrobe. We're redoing our former playroom into a tv room and wanted it done in time for DS 's birthday next week. I had been lamenting that we would have to buy a birch PAX temporarily and then move it up to a bedroom once dark brown became available. Who woulda thought yesterday would be my lucky day? Brown black was on display and was in stock--only in one size, which was the size I was looking for--the widest tallest unit.

AND to top it off, I checked out the Stolmen stock on our way through the self serve area, and the shelves and drawers for the narrow unit were there--unlike my previous several visits (I had only been able to get the wider shelves and drawers.)

NO WAY!! Do you mean the actual pax cabinet was brown black too - not just the doors? This is very exciting news!

Yes, the whole cabinet was in brown black. The only inside components that were brown black in the display unit were shelves. The "drawers" they had inside were either wire baskets or clear plastic. We were in such a hurry that we didn't ask if any other components were in brown black.
