| | Still deciding if plan B is possibleI wouldn't focus too much on the price - it looks like plan B might have a different amount of countertop too, which would either add or decrease the price. We found that the additional cost of a pantry over a base+wall, was far less than the additional countertop needed on top of sections of base cabinet. |

| | loft bed conundrumUmmm... What loft bed? ![]() Blogs aren't the best place to ask questions like that anyway, if you'd like, upload a picture (or several) of the bed in question to the Bedroom and Closet gallery here: IKEAFANS - Galleries - Access Denied and select the create a thread option. That'll create a thread in the appropriate forum (yup... the Bedroom and Closet forum) where you've got a better chance of it being seen by the right people. James |

| | Still deciding if plan B is possibleOh, here is where I posted the two plans. For plan B, if we do it, we would put in cabinets all the way across. http://www.ikeafans.com/forums/kitch...two-plans.html The difference in price is about $150 (plan A is more expensive). |

| | Tidahom Drawer Frontsdrawer frontsWill be interested to know how you get on. Really pleased with the kitchen that goes in this week. I had to drill screw holes slightly to get the plain drawers to fit flush with the panelled ones. Good luck! |

| | Tidahom Drawer FrontsHi! You will get a better response in the forums if you have a question. Blogs are like journals....for telling your story. Forums are for questions and answers. Try posting in the Assembly and Installation forum for a quick response (keeping in mind that it's a holiday weekend in the US!). Welcome to IKEAFANS! |

| | Picked up kitchen cabinetsYou are right, that is one thing I need to take care during the installation, to make it worse there's a window sill right behind the faucet, but I am making my own sill so I can make it very flush with the wall. It's a good thing I don't need a countertop to install this sink, so it is easier to adjust the position. This is the faucet we will have you push the lever back to get hot water, there isn't a problem rotating the whole assembly so the control lever it is not exactly pointing right though. The only thing shocking about the sink is that it looks a little big (36") unfortunately my window was exactly 36" and getting a 30" or 33" + fillers wouldn't have look as nice in the cabinet. We have no issues using a sink that big (it will be very functional), just worried it may look out of proportion. But the side lips should be covered by the counter almost 1" on each side, so it's almost 34" only and my old drop in with rim, still took up a 33" estate |

| | Picked up kitchen cabinetsWhat a pretty sink! How much room do you need behind it to make sure that the faucet handle can move around freely (including the depth of whatever backsplash you are planning)? That might put some constraint on how far you can push it back. I think it'll look nice flush like you said, or pulled out a bit. It's going to look very nice with the liljestad doors. |
