Has it really been since October that I did anything about my kitchen?

Yikes.

Well, today I finally placed my draft order and will pick up the majority of the order this weekend.

Demo will happen next week.

Finally.....

Had a great ordering experience with Renata at East Palo Alto. She thought of a few things I hadn't thought of (surprising since I have been planning this for over a year now!)

And she helped NOT talk me out of the red. She said her contractor talked her out of red (for the usual resale reasons) and she regrets it. "after all", she said "who lives in my kitchen now?"

Exactly.

So, red it is.

And, for this with a sharp memory, who tried to talk me out of my beloved pantry....Yep, I am tearing out the pantry. And I love my new plan. I will just make up for that lost pantry space by putting in new cabinets in an unused area of my dining room. Its costing me a bit more to do it this way, but I love the new plan...the old plan was just not sitting right with me. So thanks to those who kept planting that seed!
