I apologize for taking so long in posting these photos! Between actually completing the project and trying to get stuff put away, life has been a whirlwind. We are STILL not done, because it has been hard to find the time. One box a day has turned into one box a week!

Inspection update...done

Well, here we have it:

Final electrical: passed 9/21/07

Final plumbing: passed 9/25/07 (second try; the first time they thought our hot water was too hot. Thanks, Goldilocks...)

Final building inspection sign off: passed 9/26/07. That's today. We are done....

Hot dogs taste better on soapstone

Yippee! I got a call yesterday from Danica at Maine Soapstone. They were giving me a head's up that they would be here sometime this week.

I talked with her again today. Gary (the owner/fabricator/installer) has a job in Yarmouth, Maine on Wednesday. He will be picking up an assistant...
