I'm calling it "FINISHED."

OK, I just decided to do it -- I'm going to post my "finished" kitchen even though it still has no undercabinet lights, new window shade, rug, etc. That's okay.

We've been cooking in it for 6 weeks now so it must be finished! We started in mid-July and started using it again...

The crack installation team just left after their second visit, and the place is FINALLY coming together!! I can't believe the difference with the blue plastic off -- that color was making me ill! Look what they did in 4.5 hours!

A crack pair of official IKEA installers came and installed about 90% of our kitchen on Saturday morning -- in only four and a half hours! It was incredible! We have moved out of our kitchen, sealed the whole thing off, and moved into our basement (ahem, lower level) as our temporary living room, dining room, and kitchen!
