Hubby in Iceland - now we can really get crackin!

Actually, Matt's absence (he's gone for 2 weeks!) is a pretty major bummer for me. First off, the mice decided to choose this time to start coming in for the winter and get themselves caught in the traps in our attic. Fun times! Second, I found out that it's really hard to hang the suspension rail by yourself. I did this because, well, we weren't getting it done and I figured that a lonely Saturday morning was a GREAT time to start. Now my forearms feel like jello from all the overhead screwdriver work. Ugh!
Here's my progress half-way through, where I'd hung my vent-hood modification on the lower rail. The other ones went up next, where the picture is.

So, I got the two rail heights correctly aligned so that they were level and that the 30" and 39" cabs line up just fine. However, they are a little over 1/16" of an inch too high, JUST enough that I can't easily squish in the contoured deco strip, and far too close for me to redrill holes and hang the hanging rail again.
There was a little bit of stomping around and swearing. Then we had ourselves some cereal and gardening (i.e., angrily pulling out lots of "weeds") and felt better. One of the offending parties (ceiling drywall, top of deco strip, bottom of deco strip) will be shaved or cut off and things will be fine.
On the good side, my ceilings are really flat! My problem is about 1/16" of an inch all the way to the exterior wall, where the ceiling rises a teensy bit.
