Here are some progress photos; we actually put up the sink lighting and under-cabinet lighting since these were taken. Still have to do baseboards and moldings, get the outlets in and some painting of the window/door frames as well as put up the blinds.

But, its a fully functional kitchen...

I'm aware that I'm using too many exclamation points, but I really can't help it. This whole process is exciting and made even more fun by the fact that I get to design my kitchen exactly how I want it to be, and do all kinds of hard work that I can feel proud of.

Got the cabinets!!!!!!

We went to Ikea yesterday afternoon and picked up our cabinets!!! They completely filled the bed of the truck, as well as my car's trunk.

Necole at the Houston store helped us through a few obstacles and everything was ready when we arrived to pick up.
