Almost Done

It's been a little while since I've posted so I thought I would just give a quick update on where we're at in our kitchen remodel. The short answer is that we're almost done.
I now have made, finished and installed every door and drawer-front with the exception of one: the big pantry door. I actually made, finished and installed that one too and it looked great - except for the fact that I failed to adhere to the old woodworkers' mantra "measure twice, cut once." The door was exactly one inch too short. Luckily, it's fixable because of the horizontal grain of the bamboo I'm using. I just have to add an "extension" to the top of the door and refinish it.
Once that's done, all I need to do is touch up some paint in a few places and then make some bamboo trim pieces for underneath my two bar tops. I figure I've got two more weekends to go. And then, after five and half long months, I'll finally be done.
I'll be sure to post final photos, but I'm holding out on you for now. I don't want to spoil the big reveal!
