Waiting and electrical woes

The kitchen is going in spurts, and it's frustrating. The first part was, in retrospect, the easiest, because it was still new and things were actually happening. Demo, electrical, gas and water disconnect, cabinets.

Then I ordered my range, which was backordered. Two weeks waiting for...

First glitch

Well, I've been taking pictures of the kitchen progression, but haven't gotten to posting them. So I'll start my first blog entry out of order with the first "oh no" moment from a measuring snafu.

When I had measured my kitchen to start, I had put in 18" high cabinets running...
