Kitchen - round 2

We are on day 4 of the second round of kitchen stuff. This was supposedly final details and touch up, but it has ended up taking us much longer than anticipated.

The backsplash tile was a bit of an ordeal. My walls are quite wonky, so we had to build up some areas with thinset a bit...

I'm back from yes, yet another trip to IKEA. There is still no nearby store with stock of the 18" x 30" Applad Black doors. I think I will have to ask my mom for a favor and see if she will pick me up some at the IKEA near her (which I know does have some in stock). I managed to get everything...

Counters!

Interim

I'm still in the nearly finished stage. Counters are scheduled to be installed on July 12. This is outside of the 2-3 weeks I was originally quoted, but there doesn't seem to be much I can do about that. I will be very glad to get them in, as trying to wipe crumbs off luan isn't fun.
