    wow, that's a huge change!

    and a lot of work! I like it but I'm really curious what made you change? The new tile has a very interesting texture--can you post a closeup?

    Oh boy, should have checked this sooner. The grey tile made what is a smallish kitchen feel like a cave. I was never thrilled with it and it was making me really disappointed with the whole overhaul. It took me 3 1/2 years to get up the courage to tear it out and redo it. You are right about the expense too, I probably wasted $1500 between the tile and installation on the first go round.
