2-1/2 weeks in ...

You'd think that I'd have something more interesting to share by now ... but is ripping out wood, pulling up carpet, and patching the holes in drywalls all that interesting?

Fact is, getting covered in termite fecal matter isn't fun, and neither is cleaning up the crumbly mess of carpet...

Almost there ...

Amendment came through, escrow is pretty much squared away ... now just for the lender to issue loan docs, sign, fund, record, and then the keys.

Then the real work begins ...

Back to the waiting game ...

Addendum 3 is sent back to the bank (seller), so it's the waiting game again. Neither my agent, the listing agent, nor I foresee any issues, as it's all in their favor. Basically, I'm asking for the originally budgeted-for-repairs $4400 as a straight price reduction.

A home of my own ...

If all goes as planned, and things are going as planned thus so far, I'll be getting the keys to my own place in 2 weeks. 'twasn't easy, and yes, my budget will be tight once again, but I'm in it for the long haul now. Many thanks to my dad for extra help on the down payment.
