Paperstone Counters In (and backsplash)!

Well it's been a few days since I last posted but that's been because I've been spending every waking hour either at work or working on the kitchen. Our friends have went back to Washington so the progress will slow to a crawl during the week and then pick up on the weekends when I can work on it....

Finshing Demo & 1st Cabinets In!

Well over the weekend after our friends got back from their trip we finished up the demo. We took out now non-load bearing wall one stud at a time. It was a little scary considering it used to be load bearing, but all was well and there was zero sag. We went from this:

Solar Tube and Drywall

Well we made some good progress at the end of last week. We took a mini-vacation with our friends this weekend and they are working elsewhere for a few days so not much going on in the next few days.

We installed the drywall, and put cables for undercabinet and under toekick lighting...
