Progress - not just for the impatient anymore

Greetings - as promised, here are some new pics of the kitchen in progress.

Here's the granite - Moon Valley - the dark spots are blobs of a deep wine color - threads of a deep green and golden/coppery flecks really make this one my fave for ME!

Semi-stalled but being patient

I've gotten my cabinets installed (and the pantry is going to be JUST fine, so thanks to all who talked me off of the ledge of despair) and the granite guy is supposed to come tomorrow to do that stuff, install my sink and cooktop. Backsplash...

Yikes...the cabinet guy called yesterday and has to reschedule me until Monday because he's stuck out of town on a job.........so, that means granite guy is pushed back too!

Roll w/the punches, eh? Means a quiet day of sleep today if I can sleep while the painter dood is painting the...
