I imagine some of us are in the temporary kitchen mode. If you are, do you see this as an excuse to throw "green practices" to the wind? Or are you still using real plates and glasses and silver (and cloth napkins)?

I've not broken down and gone with disposables, but I do limit the drinking glasses to one a day now that I have to wash them

One thing I hate is how much trash convenience food seem to generate. No getting around that, I suppose.

Any survival tips to share?

Lots of finger food served on paper towels? And the paper towels can be composted or used as kindling for a fireplace in the winter?
