Scroll down even further and there is another post by the same person titled "Kitchen with Custom Ikea Cabinetry". This is a beautiful Lidingo kitchen that they "hacked" in several places to make a truly unique, custom ikea kitchen. Fabulous!!!!

WOW - thanks soooo much for that link. That IKEA kitchen make-over is exactly what I want, and I can see that you can do a lot to integrate the horizontal cabs, despite their odd sizes, so long as you can use a little filler here or there, right? It looks like he used countertop to fill or end panels?
