I'm putting the finishing touches on my kitchen and the molding is one of the last things that need to be installed. The dilemma I'm having is with the shoe molding in the threshold of my kitchen. The floor level is higher in the kitchen because of the new cork floor and so I have a transition. I need to install molding on the cork to cover the gap between the floor and the wall, but not sure what to do with the part on the original floor. Please take a look at these pics and let me know what I should do. |
