Question Farmhouse sink domsjo NEED HELP!

We have the farmhouse sink. It comes with a set of anchor brackets step # 18 in the booklet. Does anyone have a picture of where these brackets go EXACTLY. The view from the booklet is no help...Or give us an idea. Even the store salesperson did not know!

Re: Farmhouse sink domsjo NEED HELP!

bump.

i previously asked if this exact pic could be uploaded to susan's instruction, but i haven't seen anything yet. are those two holes set at the front near the cab brace, behind the apron, or the rear near the cab brace?

i should have looked when i was at ikea wednesday instead of chowing down on ribs.

Re: Farmhouse sink domsjo NEED HELP!

We just installed our single Domsjo this afternoon. We put the heavy duty brackets near the top of the back sides of the cabinet. Only one hole would work with the bracket so we used the little flat screw that is used for the normal bracket in that hole and then drilled the other 3 holes in the side of the cabinet and used the wood screws provided. Be careful when anchoring the cabinet to the wall not to have shims in the way of the rear of the sink.

Also, the instructions gave the hole placement for the rear white metal "spanning' rail wrong. We are still figuring out how to get the rear of the sink to rest on that brace fully. The instructions with the sink said holes 4 and 5, but the ones I downloaded here in Ikea fans say holes 3 and 4. We now have it in 3 and 4.
