I'm armed with my concrete floor sample, my cherry wood floor sample, my floor plans for kitchen and master bathroom, my tape measure and dangerous because I'm taking my credit cards (just kidding).
I'm spending Super Bowl Sunday at IKEA. Hopefully I'll find the parking lot empty (angels singing). So that's my plan and I'm sticking to it.
Hope your favorite team wins...remember wild animal vs tiny horse.
I hope it was quiet and empty for you! We went and ours was busier than expected....of course, we usually get there well before opening and enjoy our 99cent breakfasts, but today we didn't get there until lunchtime. Parking lot was full, kids didn't want to go to Smaland, saw someone hiking out of there with something from AS-IS that I'd have wanted. Waa!
I hope your visit was more relaxed and that you were able to get your questions answered and the information you needed!
Susan

Susan, sorry your trip wasn't as joyful as past endevors!
Patlukes, hope yours was great!
This is usually my day to shop, too- but we have to pay attention because neither of us actually knows when the superbowl is. Today was very cold, -15 w/o windchill. Stayed inside, but DH did take a walk through the woods and saw a very fuzzy red fox.
Well great minds think alike and it seemed that everyone was at IKEA yesterday. But it was still wonderful. I got a lot done and lugged around my heavy concrete sample and wood floor sample and got some good input on my kitchen and master bathroom.
The freeways were clear on the way to the store, but on the way back, it was everyone for themselves. Lots of weaving cars on the road...but at least I'm not in Minneapolis or Chicago where school is out because of fear of frostbite.
I would love to see a fuzzy red fox (on it's orginal body of course).
