Hi there.

I'm wondering if anyone else is having repeated problems with the cushions on their Karlstad sofa.

Four months ago I purchased the Karlstad 3+2 L-shaped sofa with the Isunda Grey covers. About a month later the back pillows went all saggy and lumpy. Now they're just a big round, lumpy mess that is really uncomfortable to try and lean against. I know I have a 10 year warranty on the couch and I can replace the cushions at any time but I'm hoping for a longer term solution. I don't really want to head to ikea every 4 months to get my cushions replaced!

The bigger problem is that the pillow material isn't firm enough for the shape and size of the pillow.

I dont have a karlstad but I have an Ektorp 3+2 that I got in 2006 that has the same problem and it started about 6 months after owning it and has gotten progressively worse. I don't know what the warranty is on the karlstad but you should find out if they will replace the cushions or better yet get your money back and buy a couch somewhere else.

Since we are about to move into a new house we have bought a replacement (a Flexsteel Digby) and we are just gonna get rid of the Ektorp.
