Discuss Hug a Moderator Today! on IKEAFANS.com. We're Personalizing the IKEA Experience. Hug a Moderator Today! - How'd you like a place to consult with your trusted forum friends about matters not entirely or necessarily related to kitchens or IKEA? Here it is! Use your discretion and remember that these forums are moderated and PUBLIC!.
IKEAFANS is a site built on the backs of all the members who participate,
contribute
, ask, answer and empower others to tackle whatever comes their way. We're a community in the truest sense of the word.
We pride ourselves on being the friendliest place on the web, and we owe our welcoming atmosphere in large part to the Moderators who are active in these forums on a daily basis. It's easy to overlook the quiet comfort that they provide just by being there, welcoming new members, helping direct people with questions to the right place to find an answer and answering a fair number of the questions that come up on a daily basis themselves. They do all of this on a volunteer basis, with a positive outlook and a friendly demeanor and many spend hours a day on the site. The impact of their contributions cannot be overemphasized.
Today I would like to ask you to please - thank a moderator today for all they do for this community - it wouldn't be the same without them. Quite frankly I couldn't do what I do without their support and if I couldn't do what I do, this site would no longer be here.
So, I'd like to call your attention to (in no particular order):
Thanks to all of them. I just placed my cabinet order on Friday and I wouldn't have been able to do so with such confidence if I hadn't found this site. Thanks for all of the great guidance and encouragement.
Without the enthusiasm and encouragement here, I'd probably have gone with KitchenMaid () or some other leading brand cabinet line that does not allow much in the way of options or customizations. I love fiddling around with stuff to make it just the way I want but I am no longer capable of building my own stuff (and was never a real cabinet maker).
IKEA gives us the ability to customize, but the moderators and users here give us the inspiration to be really adventurous and creative!
Congrats and hugs to all the moderators and to you Susan for making this site a reality. Without it I would not be planning my kitchen. I've received a lot of help for which I'm truly grateful.
My apologies for my delinquency in announcing Gloria's addition to our Moderating team!
Again, please take a moment to thank those who spend significant amounts of time daily making sure that your IKEAFANS experience is THE best on the web. Thanks guys!!!
Yes, add my great thanks also! You all are incredibly fast with your answers, and wonderful hand-holders. I search this forum almost every day for answers and almost everything is addressed!
