I did it. I made bacon candy. I am going to **** and I am driving. But it is soooooo good.
Thick sliced bacon, with a half cup of brown sugar and a quarter cup of spicy brown mustard, spread out on a lovely cookie sheet at 400 degrees F for about 17 minutes. Let cool and NOM, NOM, NOM
Yes, make it for Christmas. It's messy to make (I used a plastic bag to mix the ingredients), but it is worth it. I would have it with French toast for Christmas. And very good coffee or tea.
And here I was thinking you meant chocolate covered bacon! I'm not big on the salty-sweet thing that's all the rage these days but with good chocolate and bacon it's hard to go entirely wrong.... On the other hand, nothing with mustard in it is candy. Nope, sorry, not candy. What about some chocolate?
