Smile IKEA for my QUILT ROOM

I have added some new Ikea pieces to my quilting room. The Varde cabinet which I am using as my cutting table/ pressing station/ project storage. I have the Varde Wall Shelf above it & the Magnetic rack which I use to hold my scissors. I have 2 of the Bygel rails with S-hooks for holding various items. Also, the wooden Molger Hooks & Lidan Baskets.

Re: IKEA for my QUILT ROOM

One problem. You have far too much stuff. I'll try to get right over to Plant City one day and take some of it off your hands...

Just kidding. It looks SUPER. Love the splash of red bookcases. I too love the Varde. If I can get around to redoing the studio before they send me to the poor house, I'm going to have fit one of those in.

Great job!

Actually, I do have too much stuff- you should see the rest of the room!

Re: IKEA for my QUILT ROOM

i had so much stuff in my recently finished room that the shelves fell off the wall... then i moved rooms around so some of the craft storage lives in one room and some of the design/planning in the room next to it. it'll be fine if i ever finish this house and actually start quilting/crafting again. i miss it!!!

my solution about the varde unit was that it was going to go into the wood shop (3 car garage) but since then we've decided to build a carriage house (full apartment) above the garage... i've forewarned chuck that the kitchen will now have an outward facing island: the varde unit. I can house craft projects in there while leaving storage in the main house {it's complicated }
i'm serious about using that unit at some point!

Re: IKEA for my QUILT ROOM

Love it! Clearly a room that gets a lot of use, which is as it should be .

Another <3 for the Varde! I love the clear fronts on the drawers, perfect for a craft/hobby usage.

::thumbs up::

Oh, I associated the image set with the thread so everyone can easily see the images full size if they want, as well as use the image notes. Plus this way it has the lovely thumbnail next to it in the Crafts | Sewing | Workshop forum thread lists .
