I will be ordering regular white blinds for my 2 kitchen windows. I want the light that comes into the kitchen but need the privacy blinds offer due to the fact that I have a lot of apartment windows facing my kitchen. They will be 2" Durawood blinds like these.

I need to decide on a ladder for them. I have decided between these 2 colors since a white tape would be too boring and the other sample ladders I ordered just somehow don't fit the space.
Here's are two pics. Please let me know which one you believe better fits my space. Each blind will only have a pair of ladders since they're between 35" & 36" wide.
Oh, and here is another pic where you can barely see the ladders. What you can see is that I have yet to paint the table. I'm hesitant to paint it black because now I'm not sure if it'll look toooo black. Would white be a better option?
Please excuse the mess. That big box on top of the table is actually the "Onion" pendant that arrived last night. The first one was cracked and I had to return it. I quickly opened this one and miraculously it is in one piece. It was not packaged well but I'm happy it made it to me in one piece.
