We are trying to choose between Abstrakt white or Applad white cabinet doors. We have a galley style kitchen that is fairly large (8' by 21' with the table space and large window at one end). We like the clean look of abstrakt but wonder if the shiny finish might just be too .. something ... bright? Then again, we think the applad while looks a bit dull unless its in full daylight. We'll probably have a medium tone countertop (thinking about Silestone in Diana Pearl or KalaHari).
Any insights on choosing between these two write flat front door choices?
Abstrakt is a modern style, no if/ands/buts about it.
Applad can work in modern, contemporary, or basic setup, depending on the rest of the decor.
Are your appliances black, white, stainless, or something else?

For me, the main difference was that AW was reflective and Applad was not. I love them both, but I'm glad we went with Abstrakt White, because our garden spends the day reflected off a pantry cover panel, and I just love it. But it is definitely shiny, so be prepared!
My husband and I love Abstrakt white but we went with Applad white because we thought Abstrakt was too modern for our 1920s home. Like another poster said, Applad can adapt to many styles. And for re-sale purposes, we thought that might be a better way to go. That said, the Applad still looks fairly shiny in our kitchen. And it is much more budget-friendly. I think the finish material is different, so you might also take that into consideration. Good luck!
White as in glass and/or shiny smooth steel appliances, or white as in muted and/or textured steel?
If reflective, Abstrakt would be a better match IMHO, what with everything shiny. It can pull off that modern appearance.
If muted, then Applad. They would look out of place with Abstrakt white.

Thanks for these ideas. And, Narf, our appliances are mainly shiny white/glass front (oven with glass door, dishwasher white shiny like Abstrakt, but fridge is white textured). Looks like were tending towards Abstrakt. But the photos of both the Applad and Abstrakt kitchens in this forum both look quite nice.
