Are we sure we aren't talking about the new Tidaholm BB? I could be wrong, but this is the first I've heard of a new Adel BB. Tidaholm does have a similar style than Adel (shaker with the square framed door and thinner panel section), but is a little less chunky.

I understand now. It's BB in the Tidaholm doorstyle witch would explain the little squares in the frosted glass. That's great that the BB of each style will match the other. Can't wait to see your pics.
Overkill in the installation process is better than worrying about it later!!

No countertops yet. We're debating now between a white granite with black speckle or a dark brown granite. Any suggestions?
We still have the plastic on the Abstrakt.... kind of waiting for stuff to be complete before the great unveil.
I would definitely go with a white granite -- but I am not so sure about the black speckle. If it is subtle, yes, but I wouldn't go with something that has too much black. Are you heartset on granite or would you consider something like silestone? I am a stone person myself, but some of the man-made materials are very beautiful too, especially for whites.

DO NOT choose the brown granite. Sorry, I might have gotten a little out of hand there. Really though, the lighter one would look much nicer. The brown is so muddy and dull.
I also second yankeelawer on a pure white option.

It's funny, at first glance, the white one seemed like the obvious choice. It's what we said too.
Maybe the pictures don't do it any justice, but the dark actually seems to blend better with the cabinets and floor, knowing that uppers are completely white.
We're actually leaning towards the dark granite. It's one of those hard to explain, but makes sense when you see it.
Maybe it's up to the coin.
We did consider other options like Silestone, Corian, or Cambria. Budget didn't allow us to go there.

Hey All...
Made some more progress today, finalized all island drawers, doors, etc. Take a look. The dishwasher is stainless it just has the tape still on it. We decided to put stainless doors on the sink cabinet but keep the Nexus BB dummy doors above. Since the dishwasher kinda has a black top portion, we thought it might look good.
Tomorrow will be a break and deal with shelving, but then back to it on the weekend to do plinth, etc.
I'm still waiting for a few side panels and doors to come into stock (remember, we went with the new Tidaholm BB glass door - just ordered it). Also, I have a small pantry to put it, but I have to do one more row of hardware so I can put it on the legs.
