| Re: kitchen planning tool questions
The planner is notoriously persnickety. Sometimes it doesn't like something, and will give you the "caution" sign but it won't tell you why. It won't let you put drawers next to a range, for example, because of the chance that kids might use them as stairs to walk right up onto the stovetop!
You will need a bit of filler if you have a door opening against an adjacent wall, in order to clear the handle. You can always place a cover panel on the cabinet after it is placed in the planner. If you are having trouble with the planner, please check out the sticky note at the top of the Kitchen Planning forum for tips and tricks that we've found.
The planner is best for a general visual aid, not necessarily for exact renderings. Worst case, post your plan here and I'll try to fix it for you!
