| Help - How to Build a 5-6" wide pull-out pantry?
We left ourselves with a space between the refrigerator box and the wall that is about 5.5" wide, with the goal of putting in a narrow pull-out pantry that is the full height of the refrigerator. Of course, having had what we think is a great idea, we have no idea how to implement it.
Can we set some sort of unit on slides mounted on the floor, or do we need to mount them on the wall?
Will mounting it only on the wall (leaving the other side open to access the contents) lead to leaning or warping in the long term?
Should we build something out of wood and stain to match (Nexus YB with bright white countertops) or try to modify one of those white wire racks one finds at Home Depot?
In general, we are lost, and appeal to all the wisdom that is Ikeafans. Enlighten us!
