Help!!!! Bathroom cabinets for a Duravit sink
We've purchased a 39 3/8" sink from Duravit, and now I'm faced with a dilemna of what vanity/cabinets to use for the base of the sink. We were going to go with the wall-mounted Duravit vanity but it turns out our wall and placement of studs in relation to the sink placement won't work and so the wall won't support the weight of the sink and the vanity.

Can I use IKEA cabinets for the bathroom? I know there is a thread regarding the depth of kitchen cabinets in the bathroom - or better yet - can I use the IKEA bathroom cabinets with this type of sink? Would I need to install a countertop if I went this route?
