"Homes of Color", a decor magazine aimed at the African American market, features an Ikea kitchen as their cover story in their current issue. Check it out. I loved the before and after photos. It does not matter if you are or are not African American. A great kitchen is a great kitchen.

I have that mirror behind the chair in the family room! I realize this is Homes of Color, but that's my style, too! I love that! Are the shelves in the family room IKEA? And I love the basket in the shelves there, too.
The kitchen cabs. aren't shown really close-up, but are those Kalsebo? I love the openness and realize that ours could look very similar once we open up between kitchen and family room.

I saw the magazine article last night at Lowes. The cabinets are Kalsebo ( I was also having a little trouble figuring which doors they are)and their kitchen turned out really nice.
