I have now attached another portion of the kitchen plan. I hope you can see the light blue font for the upper cabs.

Notice the wall at the bottom of the page. Using the best cabinet choices for function, I offset the window on the wall a bit and then centered the range below it. I then decided to use horizontal cabinets with shelves (maybe) underneath. I had to change one side to a 30" and the other side to 39". Will this make everything look too uneven? I was thinking of using doube stacked 39" cabs on one side and one 30" with open shelving (Grundtal) under it to help with the the uneveness.

Thoughts???

I think I would go with 39 on both sides of the windows, leaving the same margin from the edge of the window. It will be difficult to get into the top corners of the cabinets, but you have the room for them and I think it would look better than two different sizes.

Thanks - I will agree. Now, if both are 39" I may have a problem with the shelves below. I really like the Grundtal wall shelf but they only come in 31" and 47" lengths. Would the 31" look too small underneath or should I look for something else?

I think if you center the Grundtal (smaller one) under the cabinets it will look fine.
