Hi Everyone!

Longtime lurker, first time poster. So glad I stumbled upon this website a couple of months ago amidst my remodel.

For those of you who have put in concrete countertops, a few questions:
1) what thickness did you do? 1.5 inch or 2 inch? Did you put in rebar or wiremesh or both?
2) Also, did you put re-enforce the cabinets? If so, what kind of re-enforcement and how?
3) Did you precast or molded onsite?

I did a search on the thickness of countertops but did not find anything; so forgive me if this has already been discussed and I missed the thread. I am planning on this as a DIY project in the next few weeks; thus any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
