Hi All,

I saw this granite at a local distributor.
The slab that I saw had a lot more light/dark variations.

Do you think it is too dark for the Adel Med. Brown?

I am somewhat challenged by design and was considering using it as a 4 inch backsplash around the room. Any other suggestions?

If it is a go, I am stuck on what to put on the floor?

I painted it on the countertop in the Paint program. I tried to simulate a 4 inch backsplash.

Could you post a pic of the actual granite? Generally Adel MB looks great with greens.

For a backsplash, if you're at all into trends, the 4" splash is way out. The new trend is full height backsplash, from under the wall cab to the countertop, and glass tile is the hot new material. Full height granite is also out, btw.

Are you interested in a wood floor, tile, vinyl???

Hi,

I uploaded what I think is a better picture that I found at Pacific Stone Center, Inc.

The rest of the house is all hard wood floor so I thought I would consider vinyl or tile. I really liked the vinyl tiles that look like ceramic tiles but so far the contractors have all discouraged us. I would consider traditional tile.
