hello ikea fans, short time lerker, first time poster and longtime IKEA lover.....

just installed our STAT cabinets and ready to start with the coutertop/backsplash. My question is a short and sweet one so I hope yinz can help. I am going with granite tile "blue moon" as seen here: http://www.europeantile.net/Granites...LUE%20MOON.JPG
my blacksplash is going to be bisazza brand Nuvole glass mosaic here: Untitled Document and my floors are morning staff carbonized bamboo from lumber liquidators. Now that I have the background.....here is my question:

does it make sense to use different color grout for the counter and the backsplash? B/c I want to use a dark grout for the counter and a lighter grout for the backsplash.

Double check the links ... they both poit out to the same pic . Nonetheless, there is nothing wrong at all with using different color grouts.

I see both links, both backsplash and countertop. They both look nice and as Narf says, it won't matter with the grout.

yep, i think your first impression is right too...best to pick grout color based on what it's complementing. love your tile blend!! so pretty devon

Different grout will look great. Great choices there.

I can wait to see pics of your installed Stat cabinets. I just love Stat.
