sorry to what may seem like a stupid question but I'm getting conflicting info from customer service, and the IKEA online system.

Do built-in kichen cabinets come with the doors/drawers?
For example, a 36" Nexus brown-black base cabinet is priced at $68.99. Item description states what kind of door it comes with.

However, when i called customer service, they said I had to buy the doors seperately.

This confuses me because the base cabinet description only says I need to buy knobs and feet to complete, and makes no mention of doors being required.

Anyways, as of last night, a Datid Pro D51, currently at $959, possibly less if you ask nicely because it's actually been there for more than a few days now. Brand new and on the palette , but dented on the right side bottom (not visible when installed) and with two minor ones on the front-bottom panel.

My request and requirement is very simple. The Ansluta power cord is 79 inches in length. I need approximately 100 inches of cord. If I had a coupler or extension cord I could string two of them together. IKEA does not appear to have such devices. I could spend a lot of money attaching unneeded and unwanted other devices in between the two cords, but that is a total waste. Another solution, but a risky one, is to cut both cables and physically attach the wires wrapping them in electrical tape, but that is a possible fire hazard. I would not mind contacting the supplier to IKEA to order what I need, but all I have at this point is that it is vendor # 21334 and IKEA's item number is 601.199.25 and a brief search on the Internet doesn't cough up who the supplier is. I suppose I could read tghe bar code and fish out the supplier but that may be a false lead anyway. Any workable and reasonably priced suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can anyone tell us how I can cut RUBRIK end panels. They are for the oven housing and need to make the shorter so they are flush with the counter top.

I need some help. We have recently installed 1 in. black and ivory hex porcelain tiles in both of our bathrooms (pic of our downstairs bathroom attached).

We will be replacing both our bathroom vanities soon with new ones (Lillangen in birch). Right now we have off-white ceramic tile backsplash in our upstairs bath, and this will need to be removed when we rip out the old vanity (it's currently attached to the laminate countertop). We are looking to replace the tile in our comb shower/bath upstairs (also currently off-white ceramic tile - same as you see in our downstairs shower pic), because it's beginning to show its age, plus we'd love to install one of those new shower bars by Grohe in place of our current old shower head.

So, here's the question: we would like to install glass tile on the wall behind our new vanity and toilet upstairs (covering the entire bottom wall), maybe to within 3 inches of the new wall cabinets. Kind of like those pics from the Ikea catalog showing the square tiles on the bathroom walls. Our walls are currently pumpkin orange, and I'm thinking of maybe installing a slighly lighter shade of this same orange in 2x2 or 1x1 in glass tiles. For our shower, I was thinking of using these same tiles, but in off-white (to match our ivory floors better).

I'd like someone's opinion on whether the glass tiles will work with our porcelain tiles i.e. will they be too modern in contrast to the hex tiles? What about the size? Since the hex tiles are 1 in, should I stick with the larger glass tiles for contrast, or does it not matter?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and have a question regarding MÅNSTAD corner sofa-bed.

I took a look on the IKEA website and it seems that this unit will be in 4 packages?

Can anyone please confirm how many packages this sofa-bed comes in and how big each is? I'm just concerned whether it is easy to take this home ourselves, or whether we need to order delivery. Also and how easy it is to fit through our front door...

If anyone has an Expedit drawer insert unit, I would greatly appreciate knowing if DVDs can fit inside the drawers, and is so, roughly how many would fit inside each drawer?

I have searched the internet to no avail, and don't want to drive the 3 hours to the nearest Ikea if the drawers won't be big enough!

Can this type of thing be a DIY? How do I get started? Can you just paint the back of a sheet of 1/8" glass? How do you prevent brush/roller marks? How to attach it to the wall? My searches lead to tons of info about glass tile, but very little about sheet glass. Would it need to be tempered glass.
