hi all i bought the small vika amon table top but i intended to buy the medium sized one and didnt realize it until i opened it up, put on the legs and placed it in my room and saw it was wrong size.
i know how stupid of me but i was in a rush at store and well i was just excited for a new desk finally while adding legs that i didnt see it was wrong size.

anyway is there and chance of exchanging it fornthe bigger size?
i still have the box and reciept

Looking to buy Lotten Lyx cushion(s).

We're dog-sitting. Came home to find my Lotten Lyx cushions had been destroyed by my friend's 2-year-old beast. It's not like the cushions were just sitting there in mouth-range, begging to be ripped to shreds, like a romance novel. No, my poor cushions were innocently up on a dresser, in a remote room, awaiting the day that our guest room was finally finished and they could take their exhalted place on the bed.

This cur roamed the house, searching for something that had a really nice mouth-feel - kind of like a squirrel - where he could bite, rip, and yes tear, to get to the soft innards. He succeeded. After he had his fill, he gently mouthed and slobbered over the other cushion, taking exploratory bites to see if it held the same ecstacy. He grew bored and left the sister laying forlornly in the hallway.

He could of course gone after something that could have been replaced, but no. I am now searching desperately trying to find replacements. I've even been to a Korean website (Google translations are good, but not that good), to find it. Please, anyone out there want to part with them? We can work a deal, say, this monster for a couple of cushions? I'll even throw in some squeaky toys and a few balls. On the other hand, I do have cash...

Greeting Ikeans,

I purchased kitchen cabinets with Solar Beech doors a while back and have some ideas on tweaking the install that would require some additional doors. No problem (I thought) until I found out the doors were discontinued.

The good news is that the IKEA Shop online person I talked to said the doors I need are available in the Seattle store and that I can call and have them delivered. Well it turns out he was half right, they do have the doors buts the sales rep I talked to says they won't ship outside of the state which doesn't help me since I'm on the east coast. Does anyone know any way I can get IKEA to ship the doors from the Seattle store to my local store?

I have the guy coming out to measure for countertops tomorrow.
We got the impression from Ikea that putting in filler pieces would be quick and easy. We're finding that isn't the case...

We're installing abstrakt white and when we cut the filler pieces the edges didn't come out totally clean. I'm not talking about any major chipping. It just that the foil finish is a little jagged feeling. One of the corners pulled away a bit. The fillers are for spaces in between cabinets. After we screw them in should we caulk the seams? Is there something that will finish them? Will we be able to screw them in tight enough where any minor flaws won't be seen?

I'm panicking a bit...

I have a fantastic Ikea Sten shelving system for sale listed on Ebay which finishes on Sunday 12th September 2010. As you know, it is far superior and more sturdy than the current Gorm shelving unit. It comprises of a large single unit with 3 large rectangular shelves and a large corner unit with 8 corner shelves. It also has a large crate on castors. I worked out that the cost of the wood alone to build this would be over £150.00, I bought it for approx £280.00 new from Ikea and it has a starting bid of £30.00 so must be worth having a look at! Happy bidding!!:)

I'm new, and I'm trying to find a picture of the BONDE series entertainment center. It was on page 81 or 82 of the 2004 catalogue. Does anyone have that catalogue? Could you scan in those pages?

I've just moved and got rid of the catalogues in the move as I was downsizing. Unfortunately, I need a picture of that entertainment center as it appeared in the catalogue in 2004. It had the 3-shelf hanging bridging shelf that connected two single tower BONDE bookcases on either side. And the lower three or four shelves of the BONDE tower bookshelves had a glass hinged door mounted on their fronts. Hmm, and they also had three lights screwed into the top of the completed entertainment center. I used the system for years as a wrap around for my twin bed in the guest bedroom, and later used it for my 52" flatscreen--both of which fit perfectly between the two towers.
