commuter rail train schedule:...

commuter rail train schedule:
MBTA > Schedules & Maps > Commuter Rail > Providence/Stoughton Line

Go to South Station, which is on red and silver line, and take the train to Stoughton. It takes less than an hour to reach the Stoughton Station. Next, call a cab via this number: 1 877 454 6687.

If the number is not working, you may ask a nice lady in a local bakery to call one for you, this is what we did. The bakery is next to the station. The cab will probably appear no less than 15 mins, so it is a good idea to call in advance. The station before Stoughton is Canton Center, which is 7 mins before Stoughton.

The taxi fare will be about 10 dollars.

IKEA closes around 9 pm. Near the home delivery section, there is a payphone beside a board with several local taxi companies' numbers on it. The phone along with the board could be a real life saver if not only your battery died but also the taxi company business card you have was lost, which perfectly describes my situation. Anyway, afterwards, the taxi arrived after 40 mins from the time I called. Again, calling in advance is a good thing to do.

The Stoughton station office was closed for good, but they still sell tickets on board.

For foreigners: The IKEA here will ask you to take all the stuff to the cashier by yourself, no matter how big or heavy the objects are. And, after paying, you will have to take them all to the home delivery section, still by yourself. So, it may be a long and tedious process to check-out. In some countries, including mine, customers don't really have to help themselves when dealing with large objects, such as tables or beds; instead, an IKEA staff will help you register the goods you would like to have shipped. I am not grumbling here, the only reason why I mentioned this is that we have to go there again because we didn't leave enough time for check-out.

The installation is located at...

The installation is located at London's Barbican Centre, and will be accompanied by an IKEA-sponsored panel discussion on the future of the kitchen. IKEA claims the sculpture is meant to question notions of kitchen design, and prompt viewers to "think about the sustainable way of life, especially when it comes to recycling their household waste and saving water and energy."
