It's in store documentation but not on the Ikea web site. I've never seen it on display.

On the internet, I found: "Ikea LEDSKAR (Article No 40144172). " manufactured for Ikea by "Valfsel" of Turkey.

I wanted to know
if the two handles for for flow and temperature or if they were for hot and cold.
if the connections underneath were made with flex lines.
if the aerator produced a laminar stream.

Ledskar 201.441.73, not Langskar 501.441.76

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall - Godmorgen quality over time?

I need a couple of medicine...

I need a couple of medicine cabinets, and really like the plain look of the Godmorgon. However, we currently have an Ikea bathroom unit that's about 4-5 years old (alas, not sure of its name - I think it may have been discontinued, but it's a tall skinny unit, approx 16W x 16D x 80H, with mirrored door above, drawers below, and feet) on which the mirror has begun to tarnish.

The tarnish is along the edge of the mirror nearest to the bath, but it's still a reasonably long way from any direct water, and it's slowly getting worse. I'd be grumpy if I installed the medicine cabinets and they went the same way in such a short time.

So -- anyone able to vouch for the quality of Godmorgon mirrors over time? Are they the fairest one of all? Thanks for any feedback!

Finally Done! Not too bad modifying the sink base to fit my plumbing using a hole saw. New p-trap fitted to Ensen drain no problems. Did have to get some 1/2" NPT nipples and faucet lines to connect Ensen lines to my water valves. Put down slate tiles from Lowes.

I'm planning to use the Godmorgon...

I'm planning to use the Godmorgon vanity with vessel sinks. Does anyone have experience with custom vanity tops?
I don't want to use granite for looks and the weight of it. I don't want to support granite with plywood as I like the look of a think counter-top.
- Is there any 3/4" stone that doesn't need support?
- Can I find some material like porcelain boards that I could cut and drill

I figured I should not have an issue with the drain plumbing from the sink using vessels. However, how much clearance is there in back between the drawer and the wall?

can lillangen bathroom cabinets be painted?

the title kinda says it all: can...

the title kinda says it all: can the lillangen cabinets be painted? i don't want white with glass or birch... i like black brown but of course the lillangen doesn't come in black brown.

we want the lillangen cuz it's shallower than a normal cabinet and the bathroom we want to put it in is small... so the lillangen would gain us a few inches of floor space. i've painted cabinets before and they've come out really nice!

i already got a nice black brown paint matched to ikea's black brown cuz i needed it to paint our new 5-pane bathroom door... but i'm not sure that paint will hold up on the lillangen?

thanx!

We would like to buy the Godmorgon...

We would like to buy the Godmorgon sink cabinet (47 1/4x18 1/2x 15 3/8) but want a single sink instead of a double sink. We like the Odensvik sink but it only comes in a double for that size. We are looking at installing a custom single sink in the Godmorgon sink cabinet with the above dimensions. Has anyone installed a custom sink in a Godmorgon sink cabinet?

KRÅKSKÄR Bath faucet -- anyone buy/install? Issues?

We're considering the KRÅKSKÄR...

We're considering the KRÅKSKÄR Bath faucet:
IKEA | Sinks and faucets | Faucets | KRÅKSKÄR | Bath faucet with strainer

We're considering buying 4 of these for 2 1/2 baths as part of a huge home remodel--but I am concerned about install confusion and challenges.

Have read a lot of people with issues converting their Ikea faucets to standard U.S. plumbing--and the LAST thing we need right now as part of a very exhausting remodel is to add any more unnecessary challenges.

The IKEA website says "Connection hoses with 3/8" connection included" -- but I have read people having problems with faucets that advertised that disclaimer previously.

Anyone buy and install this faucet? Easy? Difficult? Any modifications required?

TIA!
