I'm a big SNL fan. My wife buys me the boxed sets of the old season for gifts (I have the first 4) and we DVR the show each week. My local NBC affiliate had two IKEA commercials sold during the show.

The first one was the kitchen commercial with the creepy looking twins; and the other was the couple who were celebrating the great dinner they cooked in their IKEA kitchen by running in and giving their appliances a pep talk.

SNL, January Jones and IKEA on the same broadcast? I call that TV perfection. :cool:

I remember a very funny IKEA ad that aired maybe 10-15 years ago? It`s about this man on his death bed and surrounded by his family, a blonde woman is in the same room but the looks like a opportunist that only married him for the money. Then the man apparently dies and the blonde woman walks up to one window an gives the a gardner outside the thumbs up. Right after this, the apparantly dead man wakes up again and he an his whole family looks stunned at the blonde woman.
Really funny and I wish I could see it again :D

Anybody remember this one? I`m pretty sure this is a IKEA ad :)
