We're trying to model our kitchen,...

We're trying to model our kitchen, which currently has a wall on one side that separates it from the dining room. We may knock that out in our design, but for now I modelled that wall as an obstacle wall. However, I cannot get the kitchen designer to allow me to drop a high cabinet w/ pullout drawers against it. Instead, the green "we're gonna drop the cabinet HERE" thing keeps sticking my cabinet to one of the walls that bounds the entire model. But those are the wrong walls - those are my dining room walls.

Help?

Hi,
I have tried everything I can...

Hi,
I have tried everything I can think of, but the online Ikea Home Planner (kitchen planner) crashes every browser running on my Macbook. Any Mac gurus out there that can help?
Here's the specs:
OS X 10.5.8, 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo, 4GB ram, Safari 5.0, Firefox 3.6.8. I re-installed the Home Planner plug-in, I cleared the browser cache, I repaired permissions. After I press the Start button, it begins to load, I can see the wall graphic, menus, etc, then it hangs up/spinning wheel for a moment, then it crashes/quits Safari. It gets stuck on installing 11/12 items. Thanks for any help with this!

How do I register/create an account to save design?

Hello Ikea Friends!

After some...

Hello Ikea Friends!

After some stops and starts I am enjoying the new kitchen planner primarily because I can use it on my Mac without booting into Windows. The problem comes when I want to save my design. I need to create an account to save, but when I click the "sign up for an account now" button, nothing happens. I've tried all sorts of different things, but I am unable to save at this point. I've jut kept my browser window minimized and my computer running for three days straight when I've not been using it, but that can't go on forever. How can I create an account so I can save my design? I hate to lose what I have done so far.

Thanks so much for the help! Have a great day!
Stacie

Maybe I'm not seeing it, but there seems to be no chatter about the new planner. No tips? No tricks? Seems like things are
s l o w l y being added from "planner central" but still a lot of holes in the inventory. My biggest frustration is trying to get an AVSIKT roll front up on the counter.
Any suggestions?

We are knee deep in a kitchen...

We are knee deep in a kitchen remodel, and now find ourselves waylayed by the recent change in kitchen planner software.

I contracted a nasty computer virus last week and had to reinstall my OS, and of course, lost all my software. When I went to ikea.com to re-download the planner, I found the new web-based software-- which looks beautiful, and I wish I had started with that version, but at this point is completely unhelpful to me! All our plans are stored on the IKEA server and seem to only be accessable through the old software, which I now don't have!

Does anyone know where I could download the old planner software? I'm completely lost without access to our plans...
