I'm new, and I'm trying to find a picture of the BONDE series entertainment center. It was on page 81 or 82 of the 2004 catalogue. Does anyone have that catalogue? Could you scan in those pages?

I've just moved and got rid of the catalogues in the move as I was downsizing. Unfortunately, I need a picture of that entertainment center as it appeared in the catalogue in 2004. It had the 3-shelf hanging bridging shelf that connected two single tower BONDE bookcases on either side. And the lower three or four shelves of the BONDE tower bookshelves had a glass hinged door mounted on their fronts. Hmm, and they also had three lights screwed into the top of the completed entertainment center. I used the system for years as a wrap around for my twin bed in the guest bedroom, and later used it for my 52" flatscreen--both of which fit perfectly between the two towers.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Cheers!

Daniel

I went to IKEA today to buy a sofa. I went today as the web site offered delivery for £10.00 (as opposed to 35)to IKEA family card holders. I paid for my sofa at 2pm to be told you can only have the offer if you come back at 6pm!!! The customer service girl said i do not know or care what the web site says come back at 6pm. Needless to say i feel as though they have misrepresented the offer on the web site (not too sure this is legal for one - enticing people in-store with misleading adverts ). I called the store Gateshead to be told the manager Clare Rodgers does not speak to people on the phone during the day - really good service. I have emailed her but do not hold out any hope of a reply. Needless to say i will never shop in IKEA again and will tell everyone i know what a bad service they offer. What a terrible place with awful ignorant and rude staff.

I am trying to estimate the number of boxes that my kitchen will be because I need this to estimate the delivery charge. I know that there will be some difference depending on what type of cabinet it is, but does anyone have some general numbers to help me ballpark it?

Here's the details that I need it on:
Base cabinet with 3 drawers
Pantry high cabinet with 5 drawers and 2 doors
Upper wall cabinet wth shelves and 1 door

The closest ikea to my new home...

The closest ikea to my new home (Buffalo) is in Canada roughly 70 miles away, I am wondering if I can return or exchange products to that store despite the fact I bought them in Long Island. I am worried about damaged items in which an exchange would be fine. I realize there may a problem with Canadian taxes (which are exorbinant to say the least) but considering the US product is the exact same as the Canadian products would there really be an issue? I would understand if I was dealing with wildly different markets i.e. UAE or a European country but Canada's line seems exactly the same.

Right now Ikea is offering free pickup of your old mattress if you have a new one delivered. But what about free drop off and disposal of your old mattress if you bring it with? We came home to cat pee on my daughter's bed :yikes:. The comforter and whatnot got most of the damage but I fear the mattress may be a goner (it's an Ikea foam mattress so if I can cram the cover into our washer I'll try washing it but I fear the worst). We're w/in 20 minutes of Ikea so I'd never bother to have a mattress delivered--but have NO use for a peed upon mattress!

Has anyone ever "recycled" their mattress at Ikea? :)
