Information contained in this post is based on information that Waygil has reported on the issue he is having with the 30"/36" drawer glides that came with his 30"/36" drawer bases. He's provided this photo to illustrate the problem:
In the photo you can see that the holes are lined up correctly in the front, but in the back, they are not in the right position. It appears that the wrong glides were sold/packaged in his order, and the result is that they are too short for the IKEA boxes. Associates at the IKEA New Haven store haveinformed himthat at least 2 other customers have called with complaints about the drawer glides not being the correct size.
If you experience this problem, contact your IKEA store and please report here so that others might benefit from knowing how your issue is being resolved.
