Along with NBeth's suggestions of attic and basement storage: If you have a garage, those wardrobes would make stellar storage. Usually garage items -like- deeper cabinets. Paint, tools, sports equipment!, Holiday stuff, maybe even overflow can goods; laundry/cleaning supplies.. you name it.
if there's a problem with damp floor, you can build a platform out of 2x4's, then put some plastic sheeting on top, and then the cabinet. [We have some white-laminated MDF cabs. in our garage and they're on a similar base - no problems at all

to a shelter, special school, senior center or community center, YM/WCA, etc. is also a great suggestion. If they're already flattened, it would make transport that much easier (I'd think).
One suggestion: If you think about posting to Craigslist again... go ahead and include links to the IKEA website showing the setup you have. I saw this just the other day, and it worked well.
When we lived in the city, we had one closet in a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 2 teacup humans. So first stop - Ikea to buy closet space. Now that we're in the burbs with more closets that family member feet I don't know what to do with these HUGE bulky Pax closet systems. I can't seem to sell them - no bites on craigs list. And they are NOT assembled so it's hard to even post pictures. One is a regular two door closet the other was a corner closet (L-shaped). Advice please!!!!!!
