Clock is off + icon issue

Susan,
I have not posted much recently due to work, so maybe you are already aware of this. The clock, time of day, it off by several hours.

I don't understand the icons when posting a reply. What happened to being able to post an emotion inside a reply? I don't see them anymore. The icons choices showing below a reply only give you 7 choices and they snap in behind the reply title, not in with the reply text. Am I just not seeing something that may be obvious to someone else? Am I doing something wrong?

2 things, and both are options in your My Account. The first is your time stamp -- this drove me batty as well, but it's easily fixable. The second is your text editor option setting.

For the clock, in My Account, click on Edit Options, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. Under Date & Time Options, drop down and select your own time zone.

The "smilies" are available in the "Message Editor Interface" options which are directly below where you just fixed your clock. Your drop down probably says "Basic Editor - A simple text box". What you want is "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing". Change that through the drop down, then click on Save Changes.

Let me know if that doesn't resolve the problems you are having! You may want to poke around a bit in the FAQ's to see what else you're missing. There's lots of configurable options to make your interface as comfortable for you as possible.

Susan
