I just purchased my brand new ikea kitchen - with ramsjo white doors. I found a number of the doors scratched when I opened the packages, and will return them. But now am worried that this may not be a very strong durable finish, and am thinking that I should change to another door style.

Does anyone have any experience with the durability of the ramsjo white doors? I would prefer not to return the whole lot and go with adel, but that is my plan if I don't find out these can stand up to wear and tear.

We did our kitchen remodel in the Ramsjo white. We are fortunate enough to live near an Ikea because we did have to exchange many doors due to discolorations, scratches etc. When we did the exchanges we opened boxes and checked before we left, sometimes exchanging doors 2 or 3 mores times. It was frustrating but in the end we are thrilled with the kitchen. We have not noticed the ones we kept being delicate, they wash well and look beautiful. We have only had them for just over a year but at this point I don't regret the choice. Hope that helps!

You mentioned discoloration issues, have you noticed any blue streaks in your doors? We are strongly considering the Ramsjo White for our kitchen remodel but we noticed on some of the display doors streaks of blue. We also purchased a 15" x 15" door only so we could match colors for tile, etc..., and it also had one of the blue streaks on it. The streak was about 2" long and 1/8" wide, partially.
