I recently purchased a Besta Enon TV Rack

I'm curious to find out if anyone else has mounted their TV on the Back Board, and if you had any problems.

I'm trying to mount a 32 Inch 20 KG TV on it, but it seems like the screws supplied by Samsung extend beyong the back board, as I am asked to drill 35 mm into the backboard. But the Backboard of the TV Rack is only 20mm.

I'm provided with the usual Wall bracket and Set bracket for the TV, Screws, Wood Screws (Which are longer than the Backboard width) Anchors (Which are also longer).

I'm worried that there might be a problem of support. Will the Anchors and Wood Screws going beyond the backboard pose any problems? Or will it not Matter? I'm not worried about the looks of it, though.

The anchors may be moreso if it's being secured to an actual wall as opposed to furniture.

The wood screws from the front ought to work just fine. For an even more secure mounting, drill the necessary holes for the mounting bracket through the back panel, then use 35mm long M6 machined screws/washer/nut to literally clamp the bracket to the back panel. This will distribute the force much more evenly than the stock screws.

Gosh i wish I could drill from the back, but the entire rack is already stuck against the wall now... I called Ikea and they said that If I just mount it it should be ok, even if the screws stick out from the back...but of course I'd rather do it your way : D

Guess I have no choice now, at least they told me that it could support the weight.

not to upset roki, but thank heavens for this site I just bought the enon and will be mounting a tv in the upcoming days. The bolts/washer/nut idea is great and I think I'll try that method...altho now that I type this, I wonder if It'll be an issue if I for whatever reason want to "remove" it and can't get to the back.

Roki, did you mount yours w/ just the wood screws? If so, how's it holding?
I'm also a bit dumbfounded as to the placement of the mount as the hole for all the cables is dead center of the backboard(s). Did you just cover that?
