so, i sold my house (And my pretty ikea kitchen <sob>)...

one of the things that the buyers asked was for me to fix a few windows that won't stay up. so, i did a little googling and found there is this little that you are supposed to use to grab this spiral window balance thing, twist, and bam...fixed.

only, not so much.

now i have a window that won't open, much less stay open.

has anyone ever successfully adjusted a window themselves?
