Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew if the INTEGRAL hinge dampers fit the hinges which come with BILLY BYOM doors.

I don't think they do - I think the BILLY hinges are smaller.

There are stand-alone door dampers available ( Rationell series) - sold as a package of 6 (I think). They're grey plastic cylinders you screw to the shelf or side of the cabinet to soften door closing for those doors w /hinges which don't have dampers. These would certainly work for the BILLY cases.

	Rationell definition Rationell is a line of kitchen products that enhance the basic AKURUM/FAKTUM lines, including the Blum-made drawer boxes.

	W definition W is a wall cabinet designation, as in W18, can be a stand-in for Wide, or when followed by a / stands for With.

If you are going to buy the door dampers
that RG mentioned you should do it soon.
They were on clearance up here
a few weeks ago for .99 a bag.

Fret not... You can buy door dampers from other suppliers than IKEA. I bought some independent ones from a Blum supplier (woodworker's supply? Cabinet parts . com? one of those)

It's just that the IKEA cylindrical ones are pretty good, and cheap. They look very much like this: Cabinet Buffers - Soft-Close Anti-Slam Kitchen Cabinet Dampers

The other ones I bought (for the non-euro-hinge doors) were much sturdier, made of metal, and have an adjustment screw so you can tune the amount of damping pressure based on the weight of your doors. Like these: Toolmonger » Blog Archive » Retrofit Cabinet Doors With Soft-Close
