We've decided we're just not up for replacing the kitchen ceiling. Bought the drywall, stood there for a while, contemplated it, realized the chances of it coming out smooth (there'll be a joint where old meets new) were just too low to make it worth our while.

But I have terrible luck just picking tradespeople out of the Yellow Pages. By any chance has anybody used a drywaller in Baltimore ?

I highly recommend this website:

http://www.servicemagic.com

The people who run it are fantastic and I've always had great luck with the contractors they recommend.
