Me personally no. My parents use them for their garage which is turned into a bunkhouse every summer for the kids by putting htem down and adding furniture. We will be doing some of them in our basement when money finally allows the pruchase of anything other than food. lol
THey hold up well and are easy to use. And you can get creative with design too.

Slightly Overwhelmed and Completely Unprepared
I've used FLOR carpet tiles, but not the Martha Stewart ones. I've got them as a runner in a hallway and also as an area rug at the front door. I love them. They've held up beautifully, even in these high traffic areas. They cut easily, and they're environmentally friendly (they're recyclable, I believe they don't offgas much). Also the customer service is great -- they were helpful directing me to the hardier styles.
As a side note, my girls use the little samples in their dollhouse.
Thanks for the responses. How are they finished? I was trying to figure out how they'd look once you put a set together. What keeps them from slipping out? Is there a finished edge?
The edges aren't finished (but none of mine have ever unravelled or come apart), and they stay in place by means of stickies on the back side, in addition to a rubber backing. When pushed next to each other, the edges are pretty much invisible. I'd get a few different samples, if you haven't already, and play with them a bit to see how they edge up against each other.
We put together a multi-colored FLOR rug in Simon's room and it's holding up well. Washing indivdual tiles is very easy (a certain

dropped his coffee mug) but you do need backup tiles to replace the dirty ones while they're drying--or if they're shot.
Whether you see the seams or not depends on the cut of the tile. Some have bevelled edges so an assembled rug has a strong grid feel to it. Others look more seamless.
I haven't tried Martha's tiles but they shouldn't be any different from other tiles--just new colors and textures.
We installed Simon's rug at the end of 2005 when FLOR still provided sticky tabs to adhere the carpet tiles to the floor. Now the tiles are attached to eachother. As Greenie said, the tiles' bottoms are non-slip too.
I will say this, the "softness" of the tiles is over-exagerrated. Unless you shell out the bucks for the really pricey tiles, you're not getting plush, cushiony soft carpet tiles.
I'm very excited about making new "rugs" for the dining room. The sample tiles are much bigger now too so you'll get a better feel of the how it looks in your space.

DH definition
DH usually means Dear Husband (or, pick your own adjective starting with D).
Thanks, Kelly. That train track, by the way, was my first complete circuit. As Simon and I worked on it, I was thinking, "Hey! We need more track. This is cool!"
